Students:
Students joining APS for the first time may qualify for free one-year membership. To join online, click here. In order to see the correct registration rate, make sure your account is configured properly. You can update this by logging into https://my.aps.org/studentupdate.
- Change the "Are you a student" flag to "Yes."
- Update the expected degree and graduation date
Conference Experience for Undergraduates
Registration for CEU attendees is expected to open in late August. Visit CEU website for more details.

The 2024 Division of Nuclear Physics will be held at the Hilton Boston Park Plaza Hotel. A limited number of rooms are available for conference participants at a special rate, please book before the cutoff date Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Hotel information for CEU students:
Students accepted into the CEU program and funded by the program should not book their own hotel room. The booking will be done for them by the program organizers.
Cancellation Policy:
All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing by September 23, 2024. A refund of the full conference fee, minus a $50 administrative fee, will be given for cancellations received by September 24, 2024. No refunds will be granted for requests submitted on or after September 24, 2024. Submit all requests to the APS registrar at registrar@aps.org and abs-help@aps.org if you are speaking or presenting. APS regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows.
